Sunny Helper is a set of friendly web tools made for seniors. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep only what we need to run the service, and we never sell your information to anyone.

Information we collect

• Your account: the username and password you create when you sign up.
• Your email address: the @sunnyhelper.com mailbox you choose, and the messages, contacts, and attachments connected to it.
• Your content: what you create with the tools — contacts, calendar events, notes, photos, music files, and anything else you save.
• Payment information: if you subscribe, payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
• Basic technical information: such as when you log in, needed to keep the service secure and working.

How we use your information

• To provide the tools you use — delivering your email, saving your photos and notes, and so on.
• To keep your account secure and make sure only you can get in.
• To handle your subscription and billing.
• To fix problems and improve the service.

We do not use your information to advertise to you, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Who we share it with

Only with trusted companies that help us run Sunny Helper: our payment processor (Paddle) for subscriptions, our email delivery provider (Resend) for sending and receiving mail, and our file storage provider for your photos and music. They may only use your information to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies (browser storage) to keep you signed in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

How long we keep information

We keep your information while your account is open. If you delete content, it is removed from the service. If you close your account or end your subscription and ask us to delete your data, we delete your account information and content.

Your choices and rights

• You can view, edit, and delete your content at any time in the tools.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings.
• You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us (see below).
• If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have extra rights under GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit and at rest, and we limit access to the people and systems that need it. No system is perfect, but we work hard to keep your information safe.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for important changes, let you know inside the service.
